I’m passionate about building leadership in the next generation through my work with local 4-H and FFA youth groups. I lead hands-on sessions that teach respectful animal handling, the ethics of harvest, and the responsibility that comes with caring for livestock as well as the conduct the carcass contest for youth after the conclusion of the fair. Through these experiences, I also help young people develop communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills; foundational tools they can carry through school and into any career. It’s leadership development rooted in values, respect, and real-life application.
